3 tspns = 1 tablespoon 2.64 gallons = 10 liters Formula:
Weight per gallon x % Nutrient

Example: 18-3-6
10.58 lb. per gal x 18% Nitrogen
=1.9 lb. Nitrogen per gallon
Formula:
Pounds Nutrient per gal. ÷ 128oz.

Example: 18-3-6
1.9 lbs. Nitrogen per gal. ÷ 128oz.
= .0148 lb. Nitrogen per ounce
2 tablespoons = 1 ounce 1 gallon = 3.8 liters
128 fl. ounces = 1 gallon 1.06 quarts = 1 liter
32 fluid ounces = 1 quart 1 qt. or 32 fl. oz. = .95 liter
16 fluid ounces = 1 pint 1 pt. or 16 fl. oz. = .47 liter
2 pints = 1 quart 1 fluid ounces = .03 liter
4 quarts = 1 gallon
Liquid Measures Calculations How to Measure Irregular Land Areas
Rate / Acre Rate /1000 sq. ft. Rate / 100 sq. ft. Irregularly shaped land areas can usually be reduced to one or more geometric shapes (square / rectangle, triangle and circle). Use the appropriate formula for each part or the irregular turf area and calculate the area of each shape. Next add the calculated areas of each shape together. This gives you a very accurate area to use in your spray calculations.

See formulas in Linear & Area Measures  to aid in your land area total calculations.
